Why change something that works! - 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser
By Crusier Guy - May 6 - 7:50 pmIm a SUV lover. Ive owned trucks, cars, and other SUVs and this is by far the best SUV Ive ever owned. Its amazing how solid it is built. It rides nice, has great handling in the snow, my only problem is its so nice I dont want to get it dirty! Ive had it for some months now and I wouldnt change! The safety features are great as well. On some of the down sides, Gas mileage is bad considering the lack of horsepower and torque. The nav system is great and it doesnt require a DVD. One frustrating thing, you can hardly do anything on the nav system while driving the vehicle, the restrictions are too strict and should be loosened up so you can use it w/out stopping the car.

Fun Run - 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser
By bob - September 12 - 11:33 amLong trip, short trip; the Land Cruiser makes just a trip to the store a "Fun Run". We had a Town and Country and look all over for a vehicle that had that ride and comfort with the SUV safety. Most were just built up trucks. Cadilac had a great exterior, but was a chevy truck inside with just more padding. The LC is functional, fun, and the inside is built for the vehicle and the drivers and passengers favor. The problem is the wife took it and I have to drive the T&C to work...

cant beat it - 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser
By Ted - March 1 - 4:06 pmI dont think there is a better SUV on the market. Looks, quality, performance, capability and reliability are unmatched. While not inexpensive, worth every penny.

Fundamentally the Best - 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser
By IJP - September 22 - 8:53 amWe purchased it in the summer of 2005 and have taken it on cross country trip, over endless NYC potholes and off road. It is smooth, refined, has great visibility and extremely comfortable front row seating. The engine, the shifting and all other mechanical features appear flawless.

great ride never had better - 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser
By Chirs Carpentieri - October 19 - 10:00 ampros: This car is a great ride I have never riden a better suv that is this big. It is right next to the mitsubishi endeavor. The navigation system is easy to use and great on the road. The seat are comfortable. This car is also a great 4wheel drive in the snow it has no trouble. I would get this over a hummer any day. Better on gass then most big size suvs. cons:Not the greatest body, on the outside. Cargo room is very little with 3rd row seating. A very heavy car for being made by toyota

Back to the LC I Go - 2005 Toyota Land Cruiser
By David C - March 29 - 12:03 amI had a 1999 LC and then sadly moved to a 2003 Seqouia (larger size). Seqouias a nice truck but I could not stand the size/dimensions/fit-finish. Frankly, as my Seqouia review ("It aint no LC"), the build quality did not equal my 99 LC. Well, I turned the Seqouia in early (from my lease) and have come running back to a 2005 LC (over the new Land Rover). Love the additional features (back up camera is neat). Maintains the sturdy/smooth/fit-finish qualities that I missed but I was somewhat disappointed in not updating some of the annoying features (like the bulky way in folding the 3rd seats). All in all, I will not make the same mistake again. Landcruiser for life.
